Opening your planning workspace…
How to use this planner.
- Enter the internal room width and depth in centimetres. Add your chosen spacing target.
- Add a documented catalogue footprint or a custom measured block. Drag it, rotate it or enter its X and Y position.
- Review overlaps and spacing points. Export a scaled SVG or a PDF concept plan and furniture brief.
A small café concept
The worked example uses an 800 × 600 cm room, six generic 80 × 80 cm table blocks and twelve generic 45 × 50 cm chair blocks. These are editable example dimensions, not catalogue product specifications. Replace them with your measured furniture and mark doors, service areas and other fixed features.

A few useful answers.
Can I use my own furniture measurements?
Yes. Add a measured custom block, change its width and depth, and label it clearly. The same approach can mark a door zone, counter or fixed obstruction.
Is this a seating capacity or compliance calculation?
No. It is an early furniture layout study. It does not assess occupancy, escape routes, accessibility or local requirements. Those need the project’s qualified design team.
Why is the collection picker limited?
Only pieces with a clearly recorded width and depth appear in the automatic footprint picker. For other pieces, confirm measurements first and use a custom block.
